A barrier made of recycled plastic bottles encased in netting stretched across a river used to catch garbage which would otherwise float down into the Ocean.A recent report by NGO ( GAIA) (Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives) highlights the shocking use of single use plastic within the Philippines.Figures include some 60 billion single use sachets, 57 million shopping bags an estimated 16.5 billion smaller plastic bags known as 'Labo' being used annually.
