The chalice has an ascending base and a stem with a footring and a baluster-shaped knot, in which nine double air bubbles and a single air bubble. Above button and collar with air bubble. An image of the lion-held and crown-covered coat of arms of Holland in rococo cartouche has been drilled on the chalice wall. Opposite the coat of arms of Leiden, also held by lions and covered by a crown and mounted in a rococo cartouche, 1874
