China: An Xinsheng (1903-1927), revolutionary student, trade unionist and communist, c. 1920s. An Xinsheng was a revolutionary Chinese nationalist from Tianjin. He participated in both the May 4th Movement and the New Culture Movement before joining the Communist Party of China and becoming Labour Union Secretary for Tianjin. He was arrested and killed by the warlord Feng Yuxiang in 1927.
