Frank Partridge, 50, threw a glass of water in Pamela Downs' face and struck her above her left eye during a row at their luxury home in Buckinghamshire last July. Magistrates in High Wycombe today ordered him to carry out 180 hours community service and pay 175 compensation to his victim and 500 costs.
