COPENHAGEN: Tourist or sightseeing boats in the popular tourist area, the wharf of Nyhavn, seen on June 4, 2023 in Copenhagen, Denmark. ‘Nyhavn’ and it’s channels is some 300 years old and crammed with restaurants and bars, once the red light district with murky places, but now highly popular both among tourists and Copenhageners. Tourist boats are constantly departing sailing people around in the channels, to the Little Mermaid and around the Parliament, Christiansburg. The famous fairy tale author, H. C. Andersen, lived in Nyhavn for many years in Nyhavn (in Nyhavn nr. 20, number 67 and in number 18).
