Cpl. Arthur G. Mellaa of the 2nd Bn, 7th Marines participates in a Memorial service for fallen soldiers of Operation DeSoto on March 29, 1967. The service was held at a cemetery 50 miles south of Chu Lai during the Vietnam War. The image captures a poignant moment of Mellaa in the honor guard paying respects to his comrades.
