CRUISER EN FETE A birthday party was held abroad the cruiser SUSSEX at Portsmouth to celebrate the anniversary of her launching 21 years ago . Guests enclosed peers , bishops and admirals as well as representatives from the country which gave the cruiser her name and Tyneside workmen who helped to build her H.M.S. '' SUSSEX '' returned yesterday after nearly two years in the Pacific . During the war she operated in the South Atlantic and escorted Northern convoys .
