If the soil is too heavy, stick3r, put a couple inches of sand in the bottom of the trench, or even ashes mixed with ground will help it a great deal. Pick off the flowers as soon as they are fully expanded, or they will stop blooming as soon as the seed pods are formed and the seeds commence to ripe.. Sweet Peas.
