Castlefield Viaduct in Manchester. The 330-metre long steel viaduct, a Grade II listed structure, built in 1892 to carry heavy rail traffic in and out of the Great Northern Warehouse, has been turned into a sky park celebrating the industrial heritage of Castlefield with trees, flowers and shrubs planted to soften the grey steel work of the industrial structure and help attract wildlife.
