In a general way, it is midway between Cregos Giant Pink and Late-branching Shell-pink, having all the good points of both. The plants are of robust, free-branching habit, 24 to 30inches high, bearing their magnificent blooms on strongstems averaging 18 inches in length, and it is hard to finda flower under 4 inches across, and many measure 5 inchesby 2J inches in depth, forming an almost globular flower. The centre petals are prettily incurved, while the wide, outer petals reflex, making a most artistic and finelyfinished flower. The color is a rich shell-pink, similar in shade, but more decided, than either the Pink Cregos or Late-branching It comes into bloom about the middle of August
