Ardler Village in Dundee has plenty of open space in and around the village, complemented by new and innovative landscapes which include sustainable urban meadows, Downfield Golf Club, woodland areas, private and social housing (Sanctuary Housing Association) Also in the village there is the Ardler Complex which includes a library, gym, café and community centre. There are two public schools one a Catholic and other Scottish Protestant. There is a local Church and convenient stores and a vibrant local small community
