The iconic El Royale in Los Angeles, home to Hollywood's elite for decades. The 12-story apartment building, among the tallest in Hollywood, and known for its green neon sign, has housed various celebrities including Clark Gable, William Faulkner, James Dean and Charlie Foy, & more recently, Nicolas Cage, Jack Black & Judd Apatow. Other celebrities such as Ben Stiller, Uma Thurman, Katie Holmes and Cameron Diaz have also rented at the El Royale. It was built in 1929.
