Facing the Centrum Markt in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, these distinctive Cube Houses have rapidly become both local favourites and tourist magnets. These innovative modern designs - both practical yet elegant - are located on Overblaak Street, right above the Blaak metro station. The 1977 original plan showed 55 houses, but not all of them were eventually built. Regretfully, these residences are stratospherically priced, and therefore beyond the financial reach of normal humans. In any case, would you want hordes of tourists perpetually gawking at your pad?
