FILE - This Wednesday, June 28, 2017 file photo shows an aerial view of the destroyed al-Nuri mosque during fighting between Iraqi security forces and Islamic State militants in the Old City of Mosul, Iraq. Al-Nuri was a symbol of Mosul because of its minaret. For centuries, it was the tallest minaret in Iraq, nearly 60 meters (yards) high, cylindrical and decorated with elaborated interlaced brickwork. But what made it most unique and beloved was that it leaned precariously. That earned it the nickname “al-Hadbaa,” Arabic for “the Hunchback.” (AP Photo/Felipe Dana, File)
