Five historic D-Type Jaguars visit Brooklands circuit, Weybridge, Surrey, England, UK. 1st September 2017. D-Type Jaguars won the Le Mans 24hr endurance race in 1955, 1956 and 1957. In 1957, D-Types were placed 1-2-3-4-6, with only a solitary Ferrari in 5th spoiling the parade. In picture, shown on Members' Banking, car numbered '3' (Ecurie Ecosse, XKD 606) is the 1957 Le Mans winner and car '15' (Ecurie Ecosse, XKD 603) came second. Car '6' (Ecurie Ecosse, XKD 504) was the first long-nose D-Type built.
