Carl Gross has tired of being a '' knight of the road'' and has again become associated with Mr. Kennedy in the Alpha Floral Co. Mr. Lewis, of the Columbine Floral Co., had so much funeral work on the morning of Mothers' day that he could not sell cut flowers of any kind. Boldt & Lundy were busy taking F. T, D. orders. Counter trade was so brisk that two extra clerks were put on for Mothers' day. The two stores of the New York Floral Co. were sold out of white carnations by 9 a. m. and the other colors soon after. R. S. Macon, Ga.—One-fourth of the Vic- tory loan quota of this city was raised early in the drive by a committee un- der D. C. Horgan, of the Idle Hour Nurseries.
