Gibeon meteorites on display. The Gibeon meteorite shower is the most extensive known meteorite shower to have occurred on Earth. To date, approximately 120 meteorites have been recorded in an area covering 275 by 100 kilometres. The specimens are centred around the town of Gibeon, Namibia.
