The First Minister Of Scotland Humza Yousaf MSP attends the annual Govan Fair which is an historic event that dates back to 1757 and takes place on the first friday in June. It is a celebration of Govan and its people. The fair queen is crowned and there is a procession through the streets. As part of the tradition a ram's head is carried at the front of the procession.
