Glenn Wheatley (23 Jan 1948 – 1 Feb 2022) has died of a suspected COVID-19 related illness. Pictured here on 27 May 2009, Wheatley was an Australian musician, talent manager and tour promoter. he began his career as a musician in Brisbane, Australia, in the mid-1960s. In the late 60s, he became bass player in 'The Masters Apprentices'. He subsequently formed a media empire which included radio stations and artist management. Wheatley is best known as the manager of John Farnham and is credited with launching the career of Delta Goodrem. He also helped establish the Little River Band in the US.
