According to a government website "the Government is striving to uplift the quality of our living environment through active planting, proper maintenance and preservation of trees together with other vegetation. The target is to bring about noticeable improvements in urban greenery, to enhance existing greened areas, and to enhance opportunities of quality greening during the planning and development of public works projects." The 490m International Commerce Centre, known locally as the ICC, is the newest super skyscraper and is currently Hong Kong’s tallest building. The building’s 118 floors are mostly devoted to office space, with the Ritz-Carlton hotel, restaurants and the sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck.
