The Rice Harvest festival 'Punnuk' event is a time for the whole community to come together in unity to celebrate. Three Barangays will challenge each other in the tug-of-war ritual within the flowing river water with men, women & children being involved. Instead of rope two long sturdy branches known as a 'Pakid' are interlocked & bound together, winners being the team who pulls the other across the river.
