Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan poses during the opening ceremony of the Jackie Chan Film Gallery in Changfeng Ecological Business Hub in Shanghai, China, 9 April 2014. The Jackie Chan Film Gallery opened on Wednesday (9 April 2014) in Changfeng Ecological Business Hub in Putuo District in celebration of the action stars 60th birthday. Chan surprised fans by appearing briefly at the gallery. The gallery is the worlds first museum bearing the legendary action stars name. It cost 40 million yuan (US$6.46 million). The 4, 000-square-meter space charts Chans film career as well as his charity work over the past 50 years. The museum has installations that recreate scenes from The Accidental Spy (2001) and Police Story (1985), as well as tens of thousands of props, costumes and items Chan has used in his movies. In November 2013, Chan unveiled his own statue, Battle of Harmony, outside the gallery. Born in 1954 in Hong Kong, Chan started his film career as a stunt man at the age of 17. To date, he has starred in more than 100 movies. He is famous for doing all his own stunts.
