Houseboat s moored by the Thames at Abingdon. A fine view of the Thames at Abingdon, early on a clear morning, with the trees aflame with Autumn colours. We're on the south bank of the river, looking towards Abingdon medieval stone bridge over the river. Building began on this in 1416 and completed in 1422, using local limestone. It was funded by Abingdon's religious guild, the Fraternity of the Holy Cross.
