Hyde Park , Corner Anti - H - Bomb March Several thousand people this morning began a four day trek from Trafalgar Square London to the Aldermaston Atomic Weapons Research Establishment , Berkshire . The object of the 49 miles march is to protest against the production of nuclear weapons . 4 April 1958
