Isaac Barrow statue, 1630 – 1677, was an English Christian theologian and mathematician known for his early role in infinitesimal calculus, he was also the first holder of the Lucasian Professorship of Mathematics at Cambridge University, stipple engraving by W. Holl after Matthew Noble.
