Jerusalem's King David Hotel is depicted where an attack was carried out on July 22, 1946, by the Irgun on the British administrative headquarters for Palestine in the southern wing of the hotel. In spite of an advance telephone warning 91 people of various nationalities were killed and 46 were injured.
