Aasen's height was claimed to be up to 8 foot 11.5 inches (270 centimetres) during his lifetime, however his skeleton has been measured at 7 foot 1.4 inches (219 centimetres). In 1922 Aasen was offered a role in the film Why Worry?". He went on to appear in seven other films. The cause of Aasen's height is not known."
