Jousting Helm ca. 1475–1500 Italian Very little Italian tournament armor survives from the fifteenth century, making this helm very rare. It was designed for use in the joust, a contest between two mounted combatants armed with blunted lances. The helm is stamped with an unidentified armorer's mark: PA beneath a crown.. Jousting Helm.
