Jul. 07, 1970 - Lebach trial opened up in Saarbruecken: On June 29th the jury court in Saarbruecken/West Germany opened up trial against Hans-Juergen Fuchs (27) Wolfgang Dits (27), and Gernot Wenzel (25). The three young men are on trial for having killed on Janaury 29th, 1969, four soldiers of the German army and seriously wounds another one, when they committed an armed attack on an Army ammunition depot near Lebach/West Germany.
