RM2PDRAP3–Joan Seymour (c. 1508-1537) was the third wife of King Henry VIII of England and the mother of King Edward VI. Joan was known for her quiet and gentle demeanor, and was a favorite of Henry's after the tumultuous relationship with his previous wife, Anne Boleyn. Joan gave birth to a son, securing her position as queen, but she died shortly after from complications related to childbirth. Despite her brief reign and lack of historical documentation, Joan remains a notable figure in Tudor history.
