These are admirable incombination with many other garden flowers in themixed border and various garden spaces. The WhiteLily, also, which loves sunlight, is so old a gardenflower, and seems so naturally to accompany theCabbage Roses and late Dutch Honeysuckle andother old garden flowers of the early days of July, that one must allow that its place in our gardens isin combination with the other old favourites. But if it were a question of preparing a place forthe purest pleasure in the enjoyment of Lily
