The woman can be seen on the outer ledge of the bridge, with a large presence of paramedics, rescue service workers, police and others in attendance on the bridge behind, as well as on the River Thames. Lambeth Bridge in Westminster was closed for several hours this afternoon and evening as a woman had climbed over the railings, with possible intentions of jumping into the river.
