Disabled People Against Cuts and supporters gathered in Parliament Square to demand an end to the ATOS Work Capabilty Assements programme which has seen thousands of disabled people mistakenly judged fit to work, and consequently having their benefits cut. The group alleges that over 10, 000 people have died as a result of this whilst thousands more face increased hardship as government austerity bites the most vulnerable.
