Maidenhead, UK. 3rd June, 2023. Two boats have been destroyed by fire in two separate incidents this week during the early hours of 31st May and 2nd June along the River Thames in Maidenhead, Berkshire. One of the charred wrecks remains cordoned off (pictured) and is now moored outside the riverside Chandlers Quay flats where there is a strong smell of fuel. The other boat that was destroyed by fire near to Boulter's Lock has, according to local residents, now sunk. Fortunately nobody was injured in the two fires.
