It represents a great alternative to a hybrid edition with incredible low-end torque and excellent fuel mileage. As a result of the slow down in total vehicle sales, especially in sport utility sales, this great alternative to a hybrid will not be produced in 2009, so you'll have to check out the new model lot at your local Jeep dealer where there are many units still available, and at discounted prices. This state-of-the-art, Mercedes-Benz designed and built 3.0 liter, all-aluminum V6 diesel engine features high-pressure direct injection, double overhead camshafts, and a single turbocharger/intercooler.
