Michael Gillespie, a real estate developer from Manhattan, eats the 5 millionth steak served at Gallagher's Steak House in New York on January 14, 2004. Gillespie is a regular at Gallagher's, dining at the restaurant weekly for the past 40 years. He received a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne with his lunch and will receive an annual dinner for two at Gallagher's for the next 76 years (in honor of the restaurant's 76 years in business). Gillespie poses with the broiler cooks Johnny Muriel (right) and Jorge Rodriguez (left), both have worked at Gallagher's since the 1960's.
