Mr Joseph P Kennedy, the American Ambassador, unveiled in Winchester Cathedral a stained glass window that has been given to the Cathedral by Americans as a tribute to the life and character of King George V. One of the lights contains a representation of the kneeling figure of the King wearing the robes of the 'Order of the Garter'. The window is the work of Mr Hugh Easton.
