Mr Raymond Moulton O ' Brian has announced in New York that he and his wife have the right to the title of the Earl and Countess of Thomond . Mr O ' Brien revealed that he had always used the name Robert Moulton Wilston Weston , believing himself the blood some of his mother ' s second husband , Capt Guy Athol Wilson Weston . After applying for his birth certificate , he found no record of his birth , subsequent investigation , he says , proved him to be the rightful heir to the Earldom . The Countess is a Countess in her own right , her former title being Countess Guiliaris de Zante of Greece
