Nag Panchami Festival At Battis Shirala Village:- Shirala Village is in Sangli District of Maharashtra and is famous for Snake or Nag Worship and Display of Snakes during Nag Panchami. Nag Panchami falls on the 5th Day of Shravan Mas (July/Aug) this festival is more then 100 years old. It reflects the faith of ancestors of villagers in Lord Shiva.
