Nakuru, Kenya. 02nd July, 2022. A maize crop variety is seen growing at a demonstration plot during The Nakuru Agricultural Show, an event held annually by The Agricultural Society of Kenya. With the prices of maize flour at an all-time high, the government of Kenya has suspended all import duties and levies on imported maize until the next harvest season to curb a surge in the cost of maize flour. The cost of food prices has been going up at levels many cannot afford. (Photo by James Wakibia/SOPA Images/Sipa USA) Credit: Sipa USA/Alamy Live News
