He attended the schools of histown and the Kjmball Union Acad-emy, Meriden, N. H. He enteredthe University in 1844, and remainednearly three years. He studied medi-cine during 1847-48, with Dr. SamuelJarvis of Claremont, N. H., andgraduated M. D. from the CastletonMedical College in 1850. He practiced his profession inPlainfield, N.
