Oct. 10, 1974 - Charlie Chaplin Visits the Circus It has become a years old tradition, that Charlie Chaplin and family visits the Swiss National circus Knie every time this one is in Vevey, where Chaplin lives. The Chaplin visits always is an opportunity for the circus then to have more important guests. So Monaco Prince Rainier had to sign in the Golden Guest Book of Knie Circus. OPS: Charlie Chaplin, 85 years old and apparently very tired left the circus before the closing of the performance, with his wife Ona, right, and his son in law Sistovaris, left, at his side.
