Monochrome image of advertisement taken from The Royal, March 1900. Year of death of artist / designer of advert unknown. May be out of copyright so have marked for Editorial only, but if you wish to use for some commercial / advertising purpose then you should do due diligence and research the brand image & possible date of artist's death. - Pages of magazine heavily foxed so white balanced on that background colour then desaturated, and finally the levels pushed towards a more contrasty B&W level allowing for most of the worst inkspots and stains on the paper to be spotted out. However, since these Ads are of a socially historic relevance some ink and page blemishes have been left visible, while you may be able to rescue some of the paper pulp texture to make the Ad look like it's on a substantive background medium rather than a digitally created image on white. If paper pulp grains aren't required then these areas could be flooded with white in PS as required.
