On August the 9th, 1932, the government of Papen threatened with penitentiary and death penalty for violent acts. Five SS men got the death penalty after they had murdered the Communist Potempa with cold-blood. Hitler idealised them in his ideological struggle as martyrs. In many places protests and new street battles were taking place. Here, police officers keep watch on a street in Beuthen.
