One of the four en:Sonderkommando photographs taken by an inmate inside Auschwitz, August 1944, and smuggled out of the camp by the Polish underground. This is photograph number 283 of four photographs (#280–283). See Category:Auschwitz resistance photos. The other three images in the series were published in Poland in the 1950s, and are in the , but it appears that this image was not found until later. Date of first publication not known.
