Public Demonstration, French LGBT Group, "All Out", Protesting Against the recently passed Homophobic Law. in Russia, and the Opening of the Olympic Games in Sochi, In front of McDonald's Restaurant, Official Sponsor of the Games; In a few days , the whole world will be watching on Russia with the opening of the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi . Our organizations also intend to denounce the Russian homophobic laws intended to prevent the basic rights of LGBT people. They also legitimize many acts of homophobic violence and transphobic lesbophobic which have multiplied in Russia since the adoption of the law " anti propaganda." Since the beginning of Putin's third presidential term in May 2012, freedom of expression is drastically limited by a series of laws . Events opponents are prohibited or violently dispersed , the critics of the regime are silenced , homosexuals are discriminated against and forced to hide, while non -governmental organizations must register as "foreign agents ." Our organizations agree in this rally, denounce violence against LGBT people in Russia, the silence of the States participating in these games and the deafening silence of the Olympic sponsors against violent anti -gay repression orchestrated by Vladimir Putin Games. McDonald's does not hesitate to position themselves for financial reasons , as an open and respectful of LGBT business but only in Europe or the United States. Everywhere else in the world where equality is not as good for , McDonald 's does not therefore fight for equality. This marketing with two faces is abject. Companies can not sustain equality when it is easy and profitable. They must defend LGBT people everywhere and always , and especially where they have more need of support . thousands of people participate in rallies all over the planet to ask McDonald's to break his silence on Russian anti -gay laws and publicly defend the Russians lesbians , gay, bi and trans .
