PEARL HARBOR (April 24, 2017) Dr. Daniel A Bender, volunteer lay leader at the Aloha Jewish Chapel, shows military and civilian observers a hand made Torah scroll during a Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony held at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The scroll was hand written in Hebrew, and was made and donated specially to the Aloha Jewish Chapel. This year’s theme is, “The Strength of the Human Spirit”, and featured Dr. Bender as the guest speaker.
