Potsdam, Germany. 02nd June, 2020. Residential and commercial buildings on Mittelstraße in the Dutch Quarter. The 134 two-storey brick houses in the quarter, built by architect Jan Bouman between 1734 and 1742 for Dutch immigrants, are divided into four squares by Mittelstrasse and Benkertstrasse. The houses form the largest closed Dutch building ensemble outside the Netherlands and are a magnet for visitors with arts and crafts shops, galleries, workshops, antiquarian bookshops, two museums and cafés.
