Private First Class Ronald T. Roane and his scout dog, Hobo, track down enemy targets during the Vietnam War in Jan 1969. Hobo, a 75-pound German Shepard, arrived in Vietnam in May 1968 and has helped uncover numerous enemy hideaways, saving many American lives. This photo was taken by Cpl. John S. Krill and is classified under the Defense Department.
