Now, during Advent, they are raising the curtain on the prototype of their smoking rocket. The warmth of an incense candle opens the tip of the rocket as if by magic and a mini nutcracker peeps out. The secret behind it is a spring that expands when exposed to heat. Experts talk about shape-memory alloys. This Christmas, however, the rocket with the nutcracker will not yet land on gift tables, but can only be pre-ordered. The first limited series of 300 will go into production at the beginning of the year. Photo: Hendrik Schmidt/dpa
